Tatweer’s development programme including the increase in construction activities and contractor personnel which is estimated to exceed 7000 men per day, the board of the Company was informed on Tuesday.
Dr. Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Energy and Chairman of National Oil and Gas Authority, chaired the Board of Directors Meetings for Tatweer Petroleum Company which was held this morning in the company’s main office.
The meetings were attended by representatives of the shareholders; nogaholding, Mubadala and Oxy companies.
Dr. Mirza opened the meeting by welcoming the Board Members and concurring last Board Meeting’s minutes, which was held on 28th March 2012. The Board was updated on Company operations and discussed several company and corporate matters including the actions taken regarding the new Tatweer Headquarters Site. The Board also reviewed the Company’s future plans and expressed satisfaction with the same.
The Minster thanked the wise political leadership, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, The Crown Prince and Deputy Commander of the BDF for their continued support to the oil and gas industry in Bahrain.
The Minister also thanked the management and the employees of Tatweer Petroleum for their dedication and continued efforts to develop Bahrain Field.
