Top coaches from Manchester United Soccer Schools in the UK; have been invited by VIVA Bahrain to conduct the final try-outs of VIVA Manchester United Soccer Schools programme this year.
The UEFA qualified coaches, with years of playing and coaching experience, Kevin O’Connell and Andy Robinson, will pick the final 18 winners from the 120 players who qualified for the final selection round.
Coach Kevin O’Connell has delivered football training experience to various international projects in Asia including China, India, Philippines and Singapore and has conducted a wide range of football training courses including player development courses, residential development courses, and Club development courses, amongst many others. He is currently the coach for Stockport County under 14’s Centre of Excellence team.
“During our visit to Bahrain, we will be looking to identify players who possess good technical skills, and have the confidence to express themselves within small sided games situations by dominating 1v1 situations in both defence and attack,” Coach Kevin O’Connell, said.
Coach Andy Robinson who has been with Manchester United Soccer Schools for over two years, is equipped with extensive FA Level 1 Goalkeeping experience and has been actively involved in football training courses in Goalkeeping at the Manchester United Soccer Schools residential camp at Denstone College in the UK. He currently coaches 15-17 years footballers to train them on their technical football skills.
