BNA quoting a local newspaper said that a team of consultants and officials at the Health Ministry prepared the visions and presented them to the Health Minister last Thursady.
The team was formed following an urgent extended meeting held by the Health Minister with officials and consultants last week.
The meeting focused mainly on the need to speed up the opening of the sickle cell centre which will be run by a fully-engaged consultant and a team of doctors and nurses. An independent annual budget for the centre was also requested.
The centre is expected to alleviate the pressure on Salmaniya Medical Complex Emergency Department.
