Bahrain, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is on the right path of recovery, solid and resolved to ensure a better future thanks to its people’s firm national stances and commitment to its unity, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said, adding that the Bahraini citizens, whatever be their beliefs, share the same national goals, namely the unity, integrity, security and stability of the homeland, which, he asserted, has thwarted all attempts to destabilize the kingdom or undermine its safety.
Speaking as he received at his court a number of senior officials, religious, business, press and media figures, as well as intellectuals and citizens, HRH Premier assured those present that the nation will suffer no damage in light of the Bahraini citizens’ cohesion, high national awareness, strong loyalty towards the wise leadership and adherence to national interests, adding that genuine Bahrainis will turn a deaf ear to all dissonant voices and calls aiming to alter their loving nature and the one-family feeling prevailing among them.
“We are keen to preserve the Bahraini citizens’ dignity and promote their rights through protecting them, providing them with the means of decent living and ensuring their exercise of their political rights in light of the democratic atmosphere that has consolidated popular participation in the decision-making process,” HRH Prime Minister said.
HRH Premier also pointed out that national work is among the most effective ways to drive away all dangers and, therefore, all efforts to counter the attempts to distort it should be interacted with positively, adding that the government is resolved to promote the value of team work among public establishments, noting that every government official is accountable for what he/she has achieved for the citizens, as well as role in safeguarding the already-attained achievements and all have to work under the one-family umbrella, giving top priority for the nation and the citizens.
On the global economic situation, HRH Premier said that although the overall developments are not satisfactory, the government is doing its utmost to attract investments and encourage capital owners to fortify the national economy against any possible repercussions.
