HM King Hamad was speaking as he received at Al-Safriya Palace the new board of directors of the Bahrain Businesswomen Society (BBS), led by Chairperson Ahlam Yousif Janahi.
He congratulated the new-look board, wishing them every success to achieve the goals and projects of the association towards empowering women.
He paid tribute to Bahraini women for their crucial contribution to their country’s development and progress, particularly in the sectors of trade and economy.
He hailed the association for projecting Bahrain’s strides and women’s pivotal contributions in all international arenas.
He also credited the association from promoting the role of women and bolstering their full potential and competence, which earned them landmark achievements in all productive sectors.
HM King Hamad lauded the BBS efforts to bolster economic and trade relations with other friendly countries, reflecting Bahraini women’s status.
BBS Chairperson Ahlam Janahi paid tribute to HM the King, lauding his keenness on supporting the association, being the first of its kind in the region.
She hailed women’s landmark achievements as well as political and social rights in the prosperous era of HM the King.
She also highlighted the crucial role of the reform project, which was initiated by HM the King in empowering women to assume leading positions and contribute to their country’s progress and development.
