Dr Mirza Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza visited the Comprehensive Call Centre where he was briefed on its daily working.
Dr. Mirza, who was accompanied by the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA)’s Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Nawaf bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, a number of senior officials and engineers, was informed in details on the services provided by the centre to customers and mechanisms of responding to their calls, especially those related to electricity and water outage.
Dr. Mirza praised the vital role played by the centre in dealing with customers’ complaints timely, adding that the centre’s ability to respond to 80% of calls in less than 20 seconds during peak times reflects the efforts made by EWA’s officials and employees to implement the directives of the wise leadership to upgrade the quality of government services provided for the citizens, particularly electricity and water.
