Newly-elected Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi will pay a visit to Saudi Arabia on next Wednesday, at the invitation of the Saudi Monarch the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, official MENA news agency announced today.
MENA quoted the kingdom’s Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed al-Qattan, as saying that Morsi will hold talks with Saudi Monarch, Crown Prince and other senior officials during the visit, and then perform Omrah.
After his meeting with President Morsi on Saturday, al-Qattan said King Abdullah had presented Morsi an invitation to visit Saudi Arabia and the Egyptian president accepted it.
