His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, urged unity to promote reform and development, taking into account lofty national interest.
He called on all parties to hear the voice of reason, warning that isolation would never be the sound path to serve the nation or express opinion.
Visiting the majlis of Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, he said he was confident the situation would be back to normal in Bahrain.
“Bahrain is doing well and is well capable of overcoming this defining period successfully through national consensus”, he said.
“We derive our strength from diversity and specificity”, he said, stressing the need to promote tolerance and moderation – the guarantors of national unity and the protection of the social fabric.
Al-Saleh expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH Prince Salman for his visit, hailing his efforts to serve the nation and promote unity.
HRH the Crown Prince also paid a visit to Parliament Chairman Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani.
He underscored the importance of visiting majlisses, thus following in the steps of fathers and forefathers.
He stressed his resolve to heal the rift and rebuild national unity and social fabric for Bahrain to recover its spirit of closely-knit family.
Al-Dhahrani hailed the visit of HRH Prince Salman, paying tribute to the wise leadership for its efforts to overcome the repercussions of recent events and put the country back on the path of security and stability.
Visiting the majlis of Al-Ghatam Family, he stressed the need for modernity not to encroach on genuine Bahraini traditions, lauding Al-Ghatams for their contributions to Bahrain’s development and progress.
He stressed the need to encourage youngsters to arm themselves with knowledge and ensure their country further progress and prosperity.
Present were Crown Prince’s Court Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Court Chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al-Khalifa, Court Advisor Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and Personal Secretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
