Cluttons confirmed its commitment to a greener office through steps to achieve a paperless working environment within the next 12 months.
Cluttons decision to move towards a more sustainable path is embedded in the fresh thinking afforded by the appointment of Harry Goodson-Wickes, head of country, 12 months ago. In his role, Harry has personally driven initiatives that seek to offer optimum client service matched with environmental responsibility.
The first evidence of a move towards a paperless system is the introduction of electronic management accounts. These have replaced hard copy versions, and can be easily downloaded by a number of users from a cloud storage solution, and accessed on smart phones and tablet computers. As well as reducing the use of limited resources, this move has significantly streamlined the client reporting process, with reports now available on the third day of each month. Previously, clients would have had to wait until the fifteenth day of each month to receive the printed versions.
Goodson-Wickes has also pioneered a new rent analysis report that offers property management clients an honest appraisal of price fluctuations and the state of the commercial and residential markets. The summary is emailed to all property management clients monthly, with the aim that all clients will soon receive this.
“We are proud of the steps that the office is taking collectively to move towards a more sustainable path. We consider such action of high importance, and are equally gratified that certain measures can also improve the firm’s commitment to client responsiveness and reporting,” Goodson-Wickes, said.
