His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa warned that the dangers of any meddling with the stability of the region would go beyond its regional sphere and would not be inclusive of only its geographic boundaries.

The Premier was speaking with senior government official at Gudaibiya palace in the presence of the Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Affairs Council Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Representative Council Chairman Khalifa Al Dhahrani and Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh.
During the meeting His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa emphasized the need for citizens to attain services promptly and due to the central markets being a vital source for citizen’s growth, His Royal Highness gave directives to have several comprehensive shopping centres similar that to central market in all cities and villages.
This he indicated would lessen the burden of people having to leave their area to shop.
The Premier gave directives to the responsible bodies to prepare a plan to develop and undergo maintenance of central markets in a manner that serves the businessman and shoppers.
He also gave directives to develop Muharraq central market to include various advanced facilities.
The Premier assigned the Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning to allocate an area where the alternative market would be located until development work is concluded.
Following that the Premier follow-up on the progress of work at Isa Town traditional market and gave directives to speedy work on completing its services.
