A thirty-six-year old Bahraini wife got killed in a tragic road accident in Saudi Arabia.
Her thirty-nine year old husband suffered head hemorrhage as well multiple bruises in his body and face, according to a report published by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
Their five-year old daughter escaped with a broken left leg and brain swelling, also known as brain edema or elevated intracranial pressure.
A seventeen-year old daughter escaped unhurt in the tragic accident.
In a separate tragic accident, a Bahraini got killed on the same day along with his wife and two-year-old child as they were returning home from Oman through Saudi Arabia.
The health ministry dispatched a car and two ambulances to repatriate the bodies of the victims who got killed in both accidents.
The ministry officials coordinated with Salmaniya Medical Complex emergency for the injured passengers to be admitted for medical treatment.
The ministry also coordinated with Bahrain Customs to streamline procedures for the ambulances to reach King Fahd Hospital, in Al-Ahsa’a, Saudi Arabia, where the injured Bahrainis were first admitted.
