The Ministerial Committee for Services and Infrastructures, presided over by the Deputy Premier, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, followed up the phases of work in a number of housing projects to be implemented by the Ministry of Housing regarding satisfaction of the necessary arrangements made in order to start implementation thereof soon.
The ministerial committee meeting was convened this morning at Gudaibya Palace in the presence of both the Minister of Housing, Bassim bin Yacoub Al-Hammer and the Minister of Public Works Esam bin Abdullah Khalaf.
The ministerial committee meeting focused on reviewing implementation procedures for projects in the Northern City, East al-Hidd, al-Buhair, and housing projects in the Southern Governorate which aims at the construction of thousands of residential units to meet the demand of Bahraini citizens in various regions.
During the ministerial committee meeting, solutions to obstacles and snags which may obstruct implementation of housing, infrastructure projects in all governorates were discussed.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa affirmed the Government’s keenness on expediting the provision of the necessary services in terms of infrastructure for implementing these projects.
As he reviewed public plans pertaining to housing projects, the Deputy Premier emphasized giving priority to projects relating to provision of essential services in housing projects and residential units nationwide.
