His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today received UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and exchanged with him congratulations marking the last ten days of Ramadan, praying Allah Almighty to bless countries and peoples as well as the Arab and Islamic nations with further progress and prosperity.
The two sides discussed strong fraternal relations within the GCC framework, stressing aspects of bilateral cooperation and coordination in all fields.
HRH the Crown Prince then hosted an Iftar banquet, in presence of his son Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, in honour of the UAE Foreign Minister.
UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al-Nahyan was earlier received on his arrival in Bahrain by Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, HRH the Crown Prince’s Advisor Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and UAE Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Hadef Al-Shamsi.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Transport Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, HRH Crown Prince’s Court Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Court Chief Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince’s Advisor Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa and Personal Secretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
