Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa urged a total renunciation of violence in Bahrain.
He called for an unequivocal condemnation of violence, stressing the necessity not to harbour the perpetrators or condone their heinous acts.
The minister was speaking as he received heads and representatives of political societies as part of a drive to reach out to associations.
He hailed the spirit of fraternity and closely-knit family reigning in Bahrain since the Advent of the Holy month of Ramadan.
The association heads and representatives outlined their visions regarding political development in Bahrain, stressing the need to reach common understandings and grounds towards ensuring further progress through vested constitutional institutions.
Shaikh Khalid stressed the need to steer internal affairs away from regional conflicts, sectarian polarization, foreign mediation and interference.
“The Kingdom is capable of addressing its affairs and working hand in hand to promote its fledgling democratic experience and consolidate national achievements for the sake of all citizens”, he said.
