His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa met King Abdulla II of Jordan as part of meetings with leaders of countries taking part in the extraordinary Islamic Solidarity Conference being held in Mecca.
The two leaders reviewed strong bilateral relations, stressing resolve to promote cooperation in all fields for the sake of both countries and peoples.
They discussed issues featuring on the summit agenda, hailing the initiative of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to convene the summit as the Islamic World faces mounting challenges.
They also expressed hope the summit would meet desired ambitions and challenges to bolster joint coordination and cooperation towards promoting the vital interests of the Islamic nation and protecting its security and stability.
