The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said on Sunday that the supply chain of goods in all spectrums of the local market were up to the mark to meet the unusual shopping spree during the Eidul Fitr festival in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Undersecretary of Commerce Affairs Ahmed Bubshait and a number of ministry officials toured Manama Central Market as well as Ramez Store, Megamart and Al Jazeera Supermarket, to ensure the existence of all goods and meat in preparation for Eid al-Fitr.
Undersecretary began his tour to Manama Central market, where Redha Al Bustani confirmed the availability of various kinds of fruits and vegetables and the prices are stable and the market is ready for Eid Al Fitr.
In term of meat, the Undersecretary was reassured on the availability of large quantities of meat and the Bahrain Livestock Company officials confirmed their continuous preparation for the holy month of Ramadan and for Eid Al Fitr, which in turn is witnessing a rise in demand.
In Ramez store, Ghalib Mansoor confirmed that Ramez management keen to provide all facilities and promotions continuously to consumers, and added that Ramez Store is fully ready to receive Eid Al Fitr.
Through his presence at Megamart, Foad Al Mansoury confirmed that there are a lot of promotional offers carried out by the market Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr.
Last visit was made to Al Jazeera Supermarket, where official confirmed the availability of all food required for consumers, pointing that the store management is keen to provide continuous facilities and promotions for consumers.
