Her Royal Highness Princess Sahab bint Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has opened the third Abaya Exhibition, held under her patronage at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC).
During the opening ceremony, attended by a number of the Ruling Family members, Ambassadors’ wives, citizens and residents, HRH Princess Sahab expressed pride at patronizing the 3rd edition of the event aiming to support youth talents in the kingdom.
She also said that her patronage of the event is in within the framework of the solid historical relations bonding Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and GCC countries, asserting that the fraternal Bahraini-Saudi ties have become a unique example of outstanding ties based on common destiny and visions, in line with the wise leaderships’ directives to consolidate brotherly relations and in accordance with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s constant support for renewable youth talents and instructions to facilitate their integration in the social development process.
HRH Princess Sahab also expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the event organisers, led by MedPoint Events Chairwoman Shaikha Noora bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, for their efforts to ensure the success of the function aiming to shed light on official and traditional clothes of women across the GCC.
She also expressed admiration of the make-up and fashion shows, as well as that of the traditional dress “Al Nashil”.
After that, HRH Princess Sahab toured the exhibition and then was presented with a commemorative gift for patronizing the event.
MedPoint Events Chairwoman Shaikha Noora bint Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH Princes Sahab for patronizing the show, which, she said, has ensured its success, noting that the exhibition aims to promote traditional GCC clothes and bring to light the skills of Bahraini designers.
