His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya palace, in the presence of the Head of the High Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, Chairman of the Shura Council Ali Saleh Al Saleh, MPs and ministers, a number of senior officials.
HRH the Premier affirmed that uniting Arab and Islamic front is necessary amid the accelerated regional and international developments, adding that leaders of the GCC countries have provided their nations with a lot in terms of development, which, he said, has been looked at as a success story.
HRH Premier also said that the leaders of the GCC have focused their efforts toward meeting the interests of their peoples, as well as those of the Arab and the Islamic nations, citing the initiatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdulla bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud and the decisions taken during the Extraordinary Islamic Solidarity Summit.
HRH Prince Khalifa warned against attempts to undermine regional security and stability, adding that the political and economic weight of the region requires maintaining the region’s stability and distancing it from conflicts and tensions that might impact its development march.
HRH the Premier also underscored the Kingdom’s strides in the service sector, including Health, Housing and education, which, he said, reflects the success of government strategy, pledging that the government will bring about more landmark achievements in this regard.
