His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, received at Istana Palace in Singapore former Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong.
The meeting was held within the framework of HRH the Crown Prince’s visit to Singapore, at an invitation by the Singaporean Premier, to attend the F1 Grand Prix race.
HRH the Crown Prince hailed strong bilateral relations and both countries’ keenness to further bolster them through exchanging visits and meetings.
HRH voiced Bahrain’s keen interest to avail of Singapore’s pioneering development experience, praising the key role played by the former Singaporean Premier and his outstanding contributions to the growth and prosperity of his country.
The former Singaporean Premier praised Bahrain’s reform march, spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, stressing his country’s follow-up on the situation in the Arabian Gulf and keen interest to maintain the security of its waters.
The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Court Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH the Crown Prince’s Personal Secretary Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa.
