The Specific Council for Vocational Training (Banking Sector) held a meeting chaired by Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) wherein the Council reviewed the preparatory arrangements for the new academic year and scheduled programmes.
The Council expressed satisfaction in the academic progress and the enrollment of the participants in all of the institute’s programmes.
The Council also reviewed the progress of the new building for BIBF, and it is expected that the construction work will start early next year.
The Council also discussed the amendments to the rules and regulations for the Institute. The Council approved extending the work plan for the external study to examine and assess the academic programs and operations of the BIBF which is being conducted by a specialized firm to ensure high quality output and best practice.
