Foreign Minister, Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa arrived in New York, US to represent Kingdom of Bahrain in the meetings of the 67 session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meetings would start their general discussions the current week to have views about the present international and regional issues and their latest developments.
Those issues would include the Palestinian case, the Syrian crisis, the settlement process in the Middle East, Iran’s nuclear programme, the human rights issue, in addition to many cases in question on the agenda of the General Assembly of United Nations.
Minister of Foreign Affairs would participate in the ministerial meetings of the GCC and the Arab League meetings that would be held on the sidelines of the General Assembly of U.N. to exchange views on the most important issues on the agenda of the General Assembly and the coordination of Arab stances towards them.
Shaikh Khalid would also meet with a number of ministers and senior officials from friendly and brotherly countries participating in the 67 session of the General Assembly of UN.
