Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Shaikh Khalid Bin Ali Al Khalifa inaugurated the events of the conference, “Management of Judicial Training Institutes for GCC,” this morning, which would continue for two days, with the participation of elite international experts in the field of judicial and legal training, at Gulf Hotel.
Shaikh Khalid delivered a speech where he welcomed the experts and the brotherly Gulf delegations participating in the events of the conference, which was held to strengthen the cooperation relations of the participant countries.
The Minister of Justice stressed the role of the training and continuous legal education as one of the basic factors for any progress, to meet the requirements of all different specializations, and the branches of the legal and judicial applications and practices, and to know about the latest and advanced trends in the field of legal and human rights work, to establish the rule of law and sustainable development.
The Minister of Justice also reinforced the delicate role of the judicial institute as a basic tool in developing the judicial work to meet the changes and requirements experienced by communities.
Shaikh Khalid pointed out the importance of the conference and the challenges it addressed, including the level of efficiency of the administrative system, and ways of the best use of training methodologies and the techniques of modern technology.
The Minister of Justice thanked and appreciated the American Bar Association and its efforts and support for the legal education and training programmes, wishing them all success.
The representative of the American Bar Association highlighted that the conference covered a number of important themes related to the development of the legal training institutes, and he also praised the fruitful cooperation relations with the Legal and Judicial Studies Institute of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
