A batch of policemen will start this month the third course on combating school violence and addiction. The Southern Governorate will host the training scheme “Together” at its headquarters in Awali.
US-based experts will conduct the training course which targets schools, particularly primary and intermediate school students.
Violence and Addiction Combating Committee Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al-Khalifa is keen on implementing the programme towards bringing up a conscious generation and ensure youngsters a social life free from violence and addiction. The programme benefited over 28,000 primary and intermediate students last year.
