BBK announced new appointments in its Executive Management team. Abdul Hussain Bustani has been appointed to lead a team of consultants in the project management office that has been established to implement a strategic project recently approved by the Board of Directors. This strategic project aims at optimizing the performance across the BBK group, involving the Bank, its subsidiaries and overseas branches, with the ultimate objective of enhancing efficiency and service quality.
As a successor to Abdul Hussain Bustani, Hassaan Mohammed Burshaid has been promoted to Assistant General Manager Human Resources and Administration. Burshaid joined BBK in 1998 and enjoys 18 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. He graduated from Oregon University in the United States, with a PhD in Human Resources Administration from DePaul.
“These senior executive appointments in the Bank stems from our belief and commitment in capitalizing on the competencies and leadership skills of the Bahrain nationals to take the Bank forward. Bustani, who has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementing this important project, is a qualified civil engineer from Nottingham University, with 37 years of experience in metal and banking industries. I am equally pleased that he will be succeeded from within the management cadre by Hassaan Burshaid who is a highly qualified HR professional,” A.Karim Bucheery, BBK Chief Executive said.
Bucheery expressed his joy at the new appointments and wished both Bustani and Burshaid success in their new respective assignments, stressing on the Bank’s dedication to always ensure the best for its employees, customers and shareholders.
