As a locally conscious Bank, we are honored to continue to extend our support to Think Pink Bahrain a leading charity towards the cause in Bahrain for the fifth consecutive year. Breast cancer is among the foremost health threats to women in the region and worldwide and at BMI Bank, we believe it is imperative to acknowledge and educate people on breast cancer as well as raise awareness in our community that early detection saves lives,” Eyad Sater said.

“By contributing to Think Pink Bahrain’s education fund, BMI Bank has committed towards the sponsorship of the Think Pink Ladies Golf event, a nurse to pursue her MSc in nursing from RCSI Bahrain as well as healthcare professionals to study for a Lymphedema Certification at the Foeldi Clinic in Hinterzarten, Germany. We appreciate the time devoted by all the members, volunteers and supporters of Think Pink Bahrain in raising the awareness levels of breast cancer within Bahrain and will continue to support them over the years to come.”
“Think Pink Bahrain’s education fund has been a long established initiative that provides healthcare professionals with the funding and support to further their education and qualifications. Whether it is raising funds for Masters Degree, Lymphedema certification, donating self check plexus gloves or lectures, Think Pink Bahrain has always stressed the importance of education at grass root levels,” Anita Ghavami said.
“BMI Bank’s continuous support to the Charity, and specifically the Education Fund for 2012, will enable more healthcare professionals to have access to new techniques, and expertise which will ultimately benefit breast cancer patients in the long run.”
“Think Pink Bahrain does tremendous work in the community helping to raise awareness of breast cancer and encouraging women to be proactive with regards to their health. With the generous support of the local business community, we hope to raise a significant amount of money at this year’s Think Pink golf events for this vitally important cause,” Donna Bushiri from Royal Golf Club, said.
