Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa received APA Group owner Japanese businessman Toshio Motoya and welcomed value-adding foreign investments which boost Bahrain’s economy and consolidate its standing on the world industrial map.
Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa hailed strong relations bonding Bahrain and Japan in trade and investment sectors, describing Japan as a key trade partner for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He affirmed the Government’s keenness on creating a favourable and business-friendly environment and promoting openness and economic freedom to attract further investments and leading companies to establish in Bahrain-being the gateway to the Gulf region as a whole.
He underscored the importance of the industrial and technological sectors in optimising economic dividends and fast-tracking development.
Motoya also hailed Bahrain’s development achievements, crediting officials for their firm keenness on bolstering bilateral partnership and promoting the role of the private sector to expand the scope of its activities.
