The Public Prosecution has referred eight suspects, six already in custody and two still at large, to the High Criminal Court for trial in connection with two terror acts that targeted people as well as public and private properties.
The defendants will stand trial on charges of arson after being accused of torching two garbage trucks in East Al Ekr cemetery on June 4, 2012 and an evacuated public bus on April 7, 2012 on Budaiya Highway, near Jid Hafs, Prosecutor Mahammed Al Maliki announced.
The suspects have also been charged with acts of sabotage and violence as well as possession of inflammatory devices.
They will appear before the High Criminal Court on October 17, 2012.
The Public Prosecution issued a warrant to track down and arrest the two runaway suspects and bring them to justice.
