Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan held talks with the German Ambassador to Bahrain Sabine Taufmann and discussed with her issues of mutual concerns, as well as ways of bolstering the friendly bilateral relations.
The Minister asserted the kingdom’s wise leadership’s keenness to develop ties with Germany so as to achieve the aspirations of the two governments and their friendly peoples, calling for the need to consolidate cooperation in all fields through enhancing exchange of human resources development expertise, joint investments and coordination in all issues.
He also praised the effective role played by Germany in consolidating the outstanding relations between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Ambassador Taufmann expressed her country’s desire to bolster ties with the Kingdom at all levels, hailing the development, political, economic and human rights achievements attained by the Kingdom in light of the pioneering Reform Project anchored by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
She also highlighted the importance of expanding areas of bilateral cooperation through increasing reciprocal visits between officials in both countries in order to take advantage of each other’s expertise in all fields, particularly those related to the development of human resources and the labour market.
