His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at his Palace in Riffa the Japanese businessman and owner and founder of APA group Toshio Motoya.
During the audience, HRH Premier praised the solid Bahraini-Japanese trade and economic relations, hailing the two friendly countries’ joint keenness to bolster them in all fields in light of the outstanding success of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s historical visit to Japan.
HRH Premier also lauded the distinguished competiveness features, openness, diversity and freedom of the kingdom’s economy, underlining Bahrain’s sound policies in dealing with economic changes and the positive investment atmosphere it has put in place, which, he asserted, has created multiple opportunities that have succeeded in attracting mega world companies and key investors.
In this regard, he welcomed the increase of Japanese investments in the kingdom, adding that Bahrain has all requirements of success for all investment projects.
Toshio Motoya expressed admiration of the kingdom’s positive investment atmosphere, investment incentives, qualified work force, suitable living standards and high growth rates, which, he affirmed, entitle it to be an ideal gateway of the GCC market.
He also praised the development strides attained by the government, led by HRH Premier, which has promoted the kingdom to be a regional investment hub.
