Joint efforts at GCC level on educational front urged

The Minister of Education and President of the 12th GCC Education Conference Dr Majid Al Nuaimi affirmed the importance of joint GCC work in the educational field. This Dr Al Nuaimi must be undertaken through the unification of GCC efforts related to educational systems and combining together educational priorities among member countries.

The Minister of Education also emphasised on the need to setup to the challenges related to the rapid growth associated with the labour market and present the appropriate requirements to meet this demand. Dr Al Nuaimi was speaking during the opening of the conference being hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the presence of the GCC Secretary General Dr Abdulatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and GCC ministers of education along with the representatives from the UNESCO. During his opening speech Dr Al Nuaimi conveyed the greetings of the leadership and thanked all for their participation in the conference. He also affirmed the need to benefit from the expertise of all countries especially that t related to human resource development.
