Public Prosecution Chief Wael Buallay said that convict Nabeel Rajb committed violations as he was allowed to attend his mother’s funeral.
In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Buallay said that Nabeel Rajab was released briefly to attend his mother’s funeral, although such a humanitarian gesture posed a threat to public security and the safety of the policemen accompanying him, he violated the terms and delivered a speech inciting mourners to stage illegal protests and called that a “religious duty”.
