Public Prosecution ordered to imprison an accused for seven days in three separate cases, charging him with robbery at gun point.
Public Prosecutor Mozah Al Na’aar in a press statement said that a communiqué was received from two money exchange shops and 24 hours markets in Central Governorate that an unknown person entered those places brandishing a firearm in order to steal, so the staff handed over sums of money, and he managed to escape.
Al Na’aar pointed out that throughout the necessary investigations that were carried, and unloading security cameras, the competent security agencies recognized one accused, and after questioning him, he admitted being involved with another defendant in the events of the coerced theft using firearm, and managed to steal sums of money and escape.
She added that prosecutors are still initiating investigations in preparation for submission to the competent High Criminal Court.
