His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the main goal of the government is to enhance urban development and economic growth across the Kingdom by mobilising all national competencies to take part in the nation-building march.
He added that any delay in implementing government projects was unacceptable and does not meet the needs of the citizens, who enjoy top priority in the government’s daily work.
This came as HRH Premier received, in the presence of the Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, the Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and MPs, a number of senior officials.
HRH Prime Minister asserted that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has launched innumerable national reform projects out of his strong belief that “Reform is the only way to build a modern society,” noting that the kingdom is reaping the fruit of HM the King’s sound policies through the successive landmark achievements attained at international gatherings.
HRH Premier also affirmed that Bahrain is a solid and tightly-knit nation, and attempts to undermine its national unity have failed thanks to the honourable popular stances, stressing that acts of sabotage and anarchy will never succeed in distracting the government from serving the Bahraini people, the focal point of its development programmes.
HRH Premier also expressed pride in the Legislative Branch’s follow up of the government’s action, reiterating support for all efforts aiming to consolidate parliamentary control and constant keenness to foster government-parliament cooperation in order to optimize national achievements.
He also stressed the government’s constant desire to meet the citizens’ needs from food products and meat, instructing the concerned sides to take the necessary measures in order to ensure that food and meat are available.
