The US officials offloaded Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan and his accompanying delegation at Pearson International Airport Toronto, Canada.
The anti-drone campaigner Imran Khan along with Fozia Kasuri have been offloaded from New York bond American Airlines flight 305 on Thursday and reportedly questioned by the US immigration staff at the Pearson Airport.
Khan was quizzed for over 65 minutes by the US officials on his purpose to the US visit and his support to the anti-drone campaign in Pakistan. Tehreek-i-Insaaf leader was also questioned about his recent rally to North Waziristan in Pakistan which had generated global acclaim for his campaign against drone attacks.
Khan, who earlier on Wednesday attended a fund raiser dinner in Toronto, was heading to similar visit to New York but was also questioned by US officials about the fund raising in Canada and New York.
The 24X7 News learnt that Imran Khan and his accompanying delegation was allowed to travel to New York in next flight following the intervention of the Pakistan Mission in Washington and State Department gave a clearance for the visit.
Khan on second leg of his visit boarded into a plane for New York bond flight when was asked to leave the plane causing inconvenience of many hours delay for American Airlines flight number 305.
