Bahrain is fully capable of facing its own challenges and restore normalcy within a national framework, without interference or mediation, through a number of means and distinctive positive features, including its people who can make their voices heard at the parliament, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa affirmed.
HRH Premier also pointed out that what the citizens really need is ensuring their decent living within a secure and stable environment, calling upon parliamentary blocs to assume their duties, represent the will of the people who elected them through adopting the popular vision in rejection of violence, terrorism and sabotage and support the government’s efforts to maintain security and stability through legislative means.
HRH Prime Minister voiced the stances as he received at his court this morning the National Independent bloc, led by its MP Khamis bin Hamad Al-Rumaihi.
HRH Premier asserted that the government is keen to take advantage of all available resources to implement the proposals submitted to it by the Representatives Council as they reflect the citizens’ real needs, noting that the government has enhanced its cooperation with the Parliament in order to consolidate its auditory and legislative roles.
The Premier also commended the efforts of the parliamentary blocs, including the National Independent one, to serve the nation and upgrade parliamentary and legislative work, highlighting the importance of preserving national achievements in order to build on them and optimize national gains benefiting the citizens.
HRH Prime Minister also discussed with members of the bloc issues related to the Legislative and Executive branches’ efforts to improve the citizens’ standards of living.
Members of the National Independent bloc lauded HRH Premier’s support for parliamentary blocs in order to consolidate their auditory and parliamentary roles and his directives to government sides to cooperate constructively with the legislative branch.
They also praised the major role played by HRH Premier in the renaissance march the kingdom is currently witnessing.
