Bahrain City Centre has taken home top honours for the ‘Fall for Fashion’ campaign at the recent 2012 Middle East & North Africa Shopping Centre Awards hosted by the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC)– a prestigious event recognising outstanding achievements in the shopping centre industry around the world. Awarded Gold 2012, Bahrain City Centre’s innovative ‘Fall for Fashion’ campaign won in the Traditional Marketing “Sales Promotion & Events” category – beating out intense competition across the region.

The ‘Fall for Fashion’ campaign was a month-long fashion and beauty-inspired festival, celebrating trends for the coming fall/winter season. A glamorous fashion display in the Central Galleria was the centre of attraction, which hosted the Style Weekend event where make-up artists offered the best in beauty tips. The campaign also featured inaugural “Kick Up Your Heels Walkathon,” which raised BD5, 700 for Think Pink Bahrain, a local breast cancer awareness organisation. Wrapping up ‘Fall for Fashion’ was a VIP ‘Fashion Party’ hosted by Bahrain City Centre in conjunction with the launch of the adjoining Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre, which drew in Bahrain’s top fashion influencers and socialites.
