Bahraini women achievements in spotlight

Under the patronage of the Education Minister, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, the Committee in Charge of Bahraini Women’s Day Celebrations at the Education Ministry organised, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Private and Continuous Education and the panel Chairperson Widad Radhi Al-Musawi, a lecture in which the Director of Public Relations and Information at the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Huda Salman highlighted the Bahraini women’s landmark achievements.

The lecture, organised at the Education Ministry’s Hall in Isa Town, shed light on the main functions and efforts of the SCW to advance Bahraini women’s role in society and enhance their effective participation in all vital sectors.

The lecturer also focused on the Bahraini women’s accomplishments in the sports field, in line with the theme of the Bahraini Women’s Day for this year, which is “Woman and Sport: Will … Achievement …Aspirations”.

Then, the Assistant Undersecretary for Private and Continuous Education Wiedad Radhi Al-Musawi honoured the lecturer Huda Salman.

Officials from the Education Ministry and students from public and private schools attended.
