The new headquarters of Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company was officially inaugurated on Monday, in Seef District by Rasheed Al Maraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), in presence of members of the Board of Directors of the company, top officials from the private and public sectors and the company’s major clients.
“BKIC Tower in Seef District is the second building owned by the company since its establishment in 1975. The building is characterized by its convenient location, which is a major hub for financial and investment institutions in the kingdom,” Abdullah Buhindi, Chairman of BKIC said. The building provides staff and customers with easy accessibility and ultimate levels of comfort and convenience. Modern architecture and contemporary interiors have been carefully designed to provide a comfortable work environment for employees to perform their work efficiently. The 11-story, state- of- the- art building, includes 4 floors providing 80 car parking slots. The building also contains a training room and board room, both equipped with the latest audio-visual technology. The total cost of the building is BD 3.5 million. Besides this building, the company operates through its branches located in major areas of Bahrain.
“It is worth mentioning that Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company is one of the largest companies operating in the country and has a capital of BD 7,150,000. It employs more than 150 employees in Bahrain and Kuwait, and is recognized as a national company in both countries. BKIC is part of the Kuwaiti based, Gulf Insurance Group, along with eight (8) other companies in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.”
Buhindi added that the company would be soon launching its new corporate identity, which reflects modernity and also clearly communicates the values and meanings imbibed by the company and the objectives it aims to achieve. All the group companies will soon be united under this new logo.
