His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that government’s work is focused on maintaining security and enhancing development at the same time, affirming the government’s strong resolve to bring about more development achievements within a secure and stable environment.
HRH Premier also said that the government is serious to put an end to all attempts to harm the homeland and will step up its procedures to deal accordingly with those who want to undermine the kingdom’s security and stability.
“We demand our people to support us, as it has always done, in order to achieve that goal,” HRH Premier said, expressing heartfelt “thanks to the citizens of Bahrain, especially those of Muharraq for their constant patriotic stances and feelings reflecting their loyalty to the cherished nation and rallying behind the wise leadership. The homeland will remain protected by such united and cohesive people.”
HRH Prime Minister pledged zero-tolerance against those who offend the nation, stressing that using democracy as a pretext to serve “agendas that are hostile to national interests will not achieve the development and progress we aspire to attain through democracy.”
The Premier stressed that religious platforms should be venues to support national security, stability and cohesion and denounce divisions and not be exploited to incite against the country and its security.
This came as HRH Premier paid a visit to the Muharraq Governorate in order to follow up on the citizens’ living conditions and be informed about the progress of a number of development projects, currently implemented by the government.
The citizens expressed sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude to HRH Premier for the measures taken by the government to reinforce security and stability.
HRH Premier thanked them for their patriotic feelings and expressed the government’s constant support for them and commitment to improving their living standards, assuring them that Bahrain is strong thanks to the government’s efforts to ensure the security, stability, comfort and well-being of its citizens.
Then, HRH Prime Minister paid inspection visits to a number of service projects where he was informed about their progress, calling for the need to finalise the citizen-oriented projects speedily, taking into consideration quality standards, in line with the government’s keen desire to upgrade the quality of the services provided for the citizens.
In this regard, HRH Prime Minister visited the new health centre in Muharraq where he confirmed the government’s interest to provide the best medical services for all the citizens across the kingdom, stressing that health facilities should be adjacent to urban areas and equipped with cutting-edge technology in order to improve the health situation in the kingdom.
HRH Premier urged the concerned sides to expedite the construction of the new health centre so as to ensure that the surrounding area enjoys integrated services.
