Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa paid tribute to Muharraq residents for their principled stances and patriotic keenness on protecting the Kingdom’s security.
The minister also hailed the firm commitment of Muharraq residents, lauding their lofty patriotic spirit.
“These patriotic feelings and stances reflect the mettle of generous people”, Lt. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa said as he visited Muharraq.
He was welcomed on arrival by His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Youth and Sport Affairs Saleh bin Isa bin Hindi, Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi as well as a number of dignitaries and citizens.
The visit is part of efforts to consolidate the community partnership and reach out to all citizens and residents.
The minister stressed the importance of good citizenship in nation-building, describing sincerity and belonging as the solid bases for edifying advanced countries.
He lauded Muharraq residents for proving-all along their history- to be a model to emulate when it comes to peaceful co-existence and the protection of national unity.
He hailed Muharraq residents for their stances acknowledging the sacrifices of policemen in maintaining security and public order through law-enforcement.
He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for laying the pillars of security, freedom and democracy.
Lt-General Shaikh Rashid affirmed the ministry’s keenness on dealing with all situations and events wisely and inforce legal procedures.
Muharraq Governor and residents extended thanks and gratitude to HM the King, affirming their allegiance to HM the King and dedication to serve the nation.
They also praised Lt. General Shaikh Rashid for his keenness on reaching out to citizens for the good of Bahrain and its security, praying Allah Almighty to protect Bahrain and it’s and strengthens its national unity and social cohesion.
