OIC Secretary General lauds reforms in Bahrain

Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu hailed the outstanding efforts of the Bahraini government in implementing the recommendations of Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI).

He commended, in a press statement, the reform march in Bahrain and the steps taken to further promote human rights, expressing hope the reform procedures will help boost national consensus as well as security and stability in Bahrain.
