A ceremony was held in Tel Al Hawa area to mark the opening of the Bahrain School, one of the major development and humanitarian projects implemented by the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) in Gaza Strip, in collaboration with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
The four-storey school, the largest of its kind in Gaza, consists of 52 classrooms and can accommodate up to 4000 students.
It is equipped with all educational facilities and includes a library, sports fields, a park, as well as scientific and computer laboratories.
It also has a classroom for students with learning difficulties, containing learning aids for students with special needs.
