Three employees of Al Baraka Islamic Bank-Bahrain (AIB) have obtained professional insurance certificates from the Chartered Insurance Institute (London). The employees include Miss Sara Alammadi, Ahmed Alnamrooti, Mishal Al-Zayani, following passing all the exams required for obtaining the certificate.
Obtaining this certificate is one of the requirements of the Central Bank of Bahrain for a bank to sell insurance policies. AIB intends to soon launch this service through the branches of the bank, along with a number of new products.
Mohamed Isa Al Mutaweh, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Al Baraka Islamic Bank honored the three employees and thanked them for their hard work and efforts which earned them such a prestigious international certificate.
“We are very pleased with the excellent achievement of the employees of Al Baraka Islamic Bank in obtaining prestigious international certificates. This achievement demonstrates the efficiency of the employees in their work and their loyalty to the bank which takes all the necessary steps to train its staff and groom them to fill senior positions in the bank. The obtaining of this certificate also reflects the professional approach that the bank follows in offering all types of products and services to its customers, especially that the bank is now on the verge of entering a new phase of expansion in the local market, both by expanding its branch and ATM networks and the offering of more new and innovative Sharia- compliant products that meet the growing needs of individual and corporate customers,” Mohamed Isa Al Mutaweh CEO AIB, said.
