Saar Central, an 82 villa luxury residential development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, joined hands with Bahrain’s horticulture enthusiasts to promote ‘Green Bahrain.’ In an initiative to streetscape the sprawling 65,000 square meter development, the Saar Central team with help from current residents planted over 100 trees of various types, an addition to the one hundred palm trees already planted.
Saar Central also announced a ‘Best Garden’ competition for all the residents. Running from December 2012 to February 2013, the key gardening season in Bahrain, residents will be judged on overall creativity and plant diversity.
As part of the on-going beautification of the development, Saar Central has installed an irrigation system to facilitate the planting of the trees. Investing heavily in beautification within the project, Saar Central has demonstrated a strong commitment to creating a greener community.
“The Saar Central community now has the systems in place to create a desert oasis in the middle of Saar. The tree planting is just the first step. We hope to continue using our green thumbs to create a green sanctuary for all of our residents that can be enjoyed by each subsequent generation that resides in our development,” Nader Al Qassab, Managing Director of Saar Central, who thanked all the Saar Central community for their support with this project, said.
