A spokesman for the Court of the Crown Prince has reaffirmed His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Kahlifa’s view that any future dialogue must represent all sections of Bahraini society. The comments follow His Royal Highness’s speech to the Manama Dialogue last week, where the Crown Prince said that “differing political views represented in disparate political groups in Bahrain must be reconciled, and they will only by reconcile by sitting together.”
The CCP spokesman reiterated that the doors to the Court of the Crown Prince have always been kept open, and remain open, for any and all parties whose goal is to help secure the long-term cohesion of Bahrain and the underpinning of the social fabric of the nation.
The spokesman concluded by saying that Bahrain’s present era under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa requires parties of all political persuasions to establish common ground that can deliver both long-term understanding and sustainable solutions, for the Kingdom and its entire people.
