The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding with its Libyan (WAL) and Mauritanian (AMI) counterparts on consolidating joint media cooperation and exchange of news and professional, technical and training expertise.
BNA Director Mohannad Suleiman signed the MoU on behalf of BNA, while Abdulmawla Hassan Al Mawla signed it on behalf of WAL one and Yarba Ould Esguire on behalf of the AMI.
The move is in line with the solid fraternal ties bonding Bahrain and both Libya and Mauritania and out of BNA’s interest to enhance joint media cooperation and ensure that key Bahraini news are broadcast in French to the readers of the two news agencies from Africa and Europe.
The memoranda of understanding were signed on the sidelines of the 40th General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA).
