The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments denied razing down four worshipping venues.
The engineering affairs directorate dismissed allegations publish in Al-Wasat newspapers as being untrue and baseless.
“Three makeshift mosques (Abu Talib, Imam Askari and Fadak Al-Zahraa) are not designated as worshipping venues”, it said in a statement.
The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments has already coordinated with the Ministry of Housing and other specialized parties to approve alternative sites.
The ministry also announced that registration procedures and issuance of property deeds are underway, adding that a construction budget would be approved.
The ministry has also approved an alternative location for the fourth makeshift worshipping venues (Imam Al-Sajjad), and property deeds and earmarked budged would be finalised.
