On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, attended at the Shaikh Isa Royal Military College the graduation ceremony of the 20th batch of university candidate officers and the 9th batch of candidate officers (Al Qadesia Detachment).
HRH Crown Prince, who was accompanied by his sons Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, was welcomed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lt. General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander Lt. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Royal Guards Commander Colonel Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Rapid Intervention Force First Lieutenant Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Shaikh Isa Royal Military College Brigadier-General Salman Ibrahim Al-Fadhala and a number of senior BDF officers.
HRH Crown Prince was greeted and then BDF’s Music Band played the National Anthem.
After some Holy Quran verses were recited, HRH Crown Prince viewed a military parade staged by the graduates.
The college commander delivered a statement in which he expressed pride in the graduation of a new batch of highly competent officers who are dedicated in the service of the homeland and loyal to the wise leadership.
After that, candidate officer Daij Salman Al Khalifa spoke on behalf of the graduates and extended sincere thanks to the college’s commander and affiliates for their effort to support the graduates during the session, expressing readiness to translate what they have learnt into the ground, along with their BDF colleagues.
HRH Crown Prince expressed pride at the advanced level reached by the Shaikh Isa Royal Military College, describing it as a national monument matching its counterparts in developed countries.
He also paid tribute to its commander and affiliates, commending their efforts to prepare well-trained national officers who are ready to serve the kingdom and defend it.
HRH Crown Prince congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to continue to focus on their personal development and education, highlighting their responsibilities in safeguarding the nation and taking part in its development march, under the wise leadership of HM the King, the Supreme commander.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa presented diploma certificates to graduates who were also sworn in as officers, who were also sworn as officers at BDF, in line with an Order from HM the King.
Shaikh Khalifa extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his continuous support for graduates and BDF affiliates, praising HRH Crown Prince’s constant follow-up and attendance of the graduation ceremony.
He also praised the graduates’ high morale and the distinguished professionalism they had shown during the training session.
