Under the Chairmanship of the Foreign Minister, Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, GCC foreign ministers will hold their complementary meeting in its (125) session tomorrow evening, Sunday 23 December 2012, at Ritz Carlton Hotel, to prepare the agenda of the thirty-third GCC summit of the Supreme Council, to be held in Bahrain from 24 to 25 December 2012.
The ministerial meeting’s agenda will include a number of important issues related to the GCC states in the light of the ministerial committees’ recommendations concerned with GCC joint action march, especially in the economic areas, and among them are GCC common market, the customs union, the economic negotiations conducted by the GCC with countries and economic blocs. This will be in addition to issues related to security and military affairs, environment, education, health and others.
Meanwhile, the ministerial meeting will discuss the current issues in the Middle East, like the Syrian issue, and the Gulf initiative concerning Yemen, and the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
