A social media club for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) is set to open its doors.
This was announced by the SMC Bahrain Chapter President Ali Sabkar.
Educational, training and consultancy programmes will be available for over 48 million facebook, 4 million twitter and 4 million LinkedIn subscribers.
US-based World Social Media Club has assigned Bahrain Chapter to set up the MENA Chapter and undertake the management.
Bahrain Chapter President Ali Sabkar has also been chosen to chair the first session of the MENA Chapter.
“The honour is in recognition of Bahrain’s competence in promoting the culture of social media and e-marketing”, Bahrain Chapter President Ali Sabkar in a statement said, published by the Bahrain News Agency.
“Bahrain will host the operations of the MENA Chapter which will include 20 countries,” he added.
